I was shopping for groceries, and suddenly thought of the need to buy a box of mineral water for a function. So I asked one of the staff there, and he informed me that I should go to the Customer Service Counter.
So here I am, at the Customer Service Counter, enquiring about the box of mineral water, and the one taking care of the counter could not give me a definite answer. I noticed that people are queuing up at this counter to pay things, so I thought maybe I should queue up and wait for my turn. BAD IDEA!
While I was queuing up, I was mocked by a customer queuing behind me. She made all kinds of monkey sounds, but I never thought that it's intended for me. The final straw came when she said "This is a fast lane, 5 items below only!".. This is the moment when I realized that all those monkey sounds are meant for me, as I was carrying my groceries. But I keep on ignoring her, as my intention is just to clarified how the hell can I buy my box of mineral water.
To the woman: Please be considerate and civic minded, it is no doubt a fast lane, but also the Customer Service Counter, I have my rights to stand there, enquire things as long as I wanted to, but I also didn't take a long time to ask. By the way, I also queue for my turn to ask, bitch!
To TMC: Are you so poor or lack of space? Can't you just have a proper Customer Service Counter?
Then I was informed by the Customer Service Counter to wait, while they take the box of mineral water from the store. Fine!
While waiting, I queue to pay up my groceries. But when I told the cashier that I also purchase a box of mineral water, she rudely said I should had let her know earlier. What?! Let her know earlier? How am I supposed to know? I was made to wait for the box of mineral water, and you come and tell me I should let you know earlier that I buy a box of mineral water?
Ok ok, fine..I have done my shopping at lease. While I leave the parking, I'm aware of the ruling that, if I buy things above RM30, I'm entitled to free one hour parking. But at the parking counter, I was charged as well, as they said I need to show the coupon to get free parking. WHAT?! Why I wasn't inform by the cashier? I made purchases of RM60 something, and I'm not made known to have such a coupon!!!
But the final straw came long after I leave TMC. I was trying to make a feedback to the Giant at their website. But after all my effort writing and streamlining it (as they limit it to 500 characters), I was given the worst possible respond: site currently not available.
I will never go shopping at TMC again!
